Who is eligible to be honored? Anyone who has served honorably in the armed forces or is currently on active duty. Additionally, those in emergency services (fire, police, sheriff, EMT, etc.) are eligible for the 911 Emergency Services Memorial.
With your purchase of a brick to honor a military veteran or emergency service personnel, you will be given a Certificate suitable for framing to give to the honoree or their family.
The Walk of Honor website online archives of honorees contains pictures and biographies submitted by the honoree or their families.
Just attach your honorees biography and their picture with your order. The website will also give details of the process of ongoing sections of the Walk.
By purchasing a brick you not only help create a lasting memorial for veterans and emergency service personnel, you also create an opportunity for awareness of the sacrifices made by those have so selflessly served our great country

Walk of Honor Tribute Fund
The Walk has established a Tribute Fund. The purpose of the fund to accept memorials and to honor deserving person. The person does not have to a veteran to be honored. Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers. If you would like to honor someone or make a memorial. contribution, Send a check made payable to the Walk of Honor Tribute Fund and mail to Walk of Honor, 1165 HWY 11-55, Kinston, North Carolina 28504.
The Tribute fund will be used to add fixtures and additions to the Walk. The name of the person being honored or memorialized will be added to this webpage
