LTC Rodolph Lee Nunn, Jr. enter the United States Air Force from Kinston, North Carolina. He was posthumously promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. He served in Vietnam from March 3, 1968 until he was killed on June 6, 1968. His death occurred at Quant Tri Province, South Vietnam. He was assigned to the 1st Air Commando Squadron, 56th Air Commando Wing, 7th Air Force as a pilot. His name can be found at panel 59W, line 10 of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D. C.
