Staff Sergeant George Noble entered from Dover, North Carolina on October 2, 1941. He served as a Squad Leader in Company F, 121st Infantry Regiment in Normandy and Northern France during WWII. He was wounded in action on August 8, 1944. George served two years, two months and nineteen days. He was discharged December 2, 1945. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, the Purple Heart, the EAMET Campaign Medal with 2 bronze service stars, the American Theatre Medal, American Defense Service Medal and the Victory Medal.
