Corporal Cecil W Adams served in Company D, 10th Infantry Regiment during World War II from August 31, 1944 to June 30, 1946. He was a heavy machine gunner. During his tour, the 10th Infantry fought battles in the Rhineland and Central Europe.

His awards include the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Good Conduct Medal, the American Theater Service Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Medal with 2 bronze campaign stars and the World War II Victory Medal.
